My grandson's view of the planet :)

My grandson ( 6 years old) colored a picture. It looked like the earth..green and blue and surrounded by a dark starry sky. Then there were what looked like lizards with their tongues hanging out below the earth. So we had this discussion..

Me: Why are the lizards under the earth?
Him: They aren't lizards, they're dinosaurs and they are dead.
Me: Oh did they die because of the ice age?
Him: No there is no ice! See the green and blue?
Me: Then why did they die?
Him: It's simple they are in space and they can't breathe.
Me: Why are they in space?
Him: Because the earth has no gravity and they fell off

:D

Ha! He really thought this thing through. It surprises me that at 6 he understands the basic concept of gravity.

Kids are a real trip, I'm learning.

I'm not sure he does fully understand the basic concept he did say the earth had no gravity :D The things that they say make me laugh very often :)
