Hi, I was born and raised in England. I married a Canadian military man and after living in Europe for a year we moved to Canada. We now live on the west coast in British Columbia, Canada.

Yes I'm in rural Herts...used to live in Uxbridge which was in Middlesex.. but now is part of West London...I'm also 20 minutes from Enfield, which again used to be Middx, but is now North London...
Nice. I watch that TV show "Escape to the Country". which I love. It keeps me in love with the English countryside.

Good afternoon, Rosie! Hope you are not affected by the heatwave or taking it easy if you are. Welcome.

Hell, I'm right behind you age wise.
Ever try explain what it was like in 1958 to the younger generation ?
They can't possibably understand.
I took my driver's test in my mom's
56 Cadillac Coupe Seville. And I had to parallel park that big tuna boat to get my license.
I miss certain things about "the good old, days."
C ya
I had to park on an incline for mine, and the three of us -me, mom, and the instructor-watched as the car slipped away. Oh, yeah, parking break 🤦🏻‍♀️, ops.
