My Last Scrabble Game

I googled it and the response was that although jinxer is a word that exists and jinxers is a plural form, nevertheless it is not found in the standard scrabble dictionary so isn't valid in Scrabble. I think the Google AI must be wrong, why wouldn't an existing word not be allowed?
 
Wow! Me and my two playing companions didn't even check the Scrabble dictionary we play with.
We just all figured it was a solid Scrabble word!

Yep - you could have challenged it and won the challenge!

"No, "Jinxers" isn't a standard playable word in official Scrabble dictionaries, but JINX (the base word) and its common plural JINXES are valid words, allowing you to build off them or use JINX on its own for points"
 
I love Scrabble and I belong to a Scrabble club which meets weekly.
I have a Scrabble app on my phone - checks if a word is valid.
I checked jinxers and it said not valid.
