I remember faces forever, names - not at all

Can't blame age for this - has always been this way.

I remember faces by association. I have a hard time remembering names by association.

Me too..I'd forgotten it was in my Amazon basket..so I've just gone there and bought it...

Thanks, David. I just ordered Remember from Abebooks. $5.58 including shipping. I see the author also wrote Still Alice, a novel about Alzheimers which I read years ago..

The title of the first book you mentioned got my 'red flags' going full-blast.. please, for the love of G-d don't fall into the so-called 'repressed memory' scam.. it was exposed as 'the scam of the 20th century' but is still going strong- books, forums, etc.

Chapter 8 is about forgetting names.
