Today is what would have been my Mom and Dad's 70th wedding anniversary. I'm sure they are up there in heaven making a toast! Cheers to you Mom and Dad!:cheers1:

Such nice photos of your parents Ruth, I take it the little one is your mother's arms is you? I know you're having mixed emotions....hugs.
 
Memories on these special days come out of the blue
and can be really upsetting, I get them too, though
not very often as I forget the dates anyway.

Maybe it is those who have gone reminding us not
to forget them.

The pictures look like those of a very happy family

It's music and songs that get me reminiscing about my parents.
My Mum worked in a munitions factory during WW2 and she sang this song until the last years of her life.
