I just thought I would show you the car I just picked up last week..

It is a Chevrolet Sonic with more equipment than I know what to do with..

A bit on the small side, but still a lovely car and very cheap on gas.. For 2 people, that's all I need..

STILL to this day I will not buy a NEW car,it seems everytime they sell one its on the recall list within 6 months.
Ill stick with 1 year old car that have been broken in and ready to go.

Looks good, Steve!
i find I need a car with four doors, so the elderly can get in and out!
or maybe I should just stop giving people lifts!

Good looking car Steve. They all seem to come with more extras now than needed.
We got a 2014 Nissan Sentra about 5 months ago. I don't have a picture of it but it has
four doors, a large trunk and is metallic grey. It is good on gas mileage and so far we are
pleased with it but time will tell.
Enjoy your new vehicle.

The Sonic has 4 doors.. It is also a backhatch...

The colour is called "orange" and it is really different.. The inside is light grey and charcoal with the delux seats and interrior..

The MPG is something else.. It is supposed to get 40 miles per gallon of gas, but is that Imperial gallons or American gallons?? Who knows or better still, who cares.. It is way more econonical than my Ford F150 Pick-up with a Triton V8 that gets about 17 miles to the gallon, downhill with a tail wind...

The car is a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.. I bought it in 2011 (November) and a lady had it from then till now.. She paid all the payments on it and now can't drive any more so I took over the car.. The ownership was in my name all along.. The car has only 17,000 kms on it when I took it over last week..
In reality, the car cost me almost nothing.. With that low mielage, it is only broken in..

I must admit it is a BIG difference driving that car compared to the Ford F150..

Nice car Steve, congrats on your new purchase

Vivjen, well it has a big third door, you could just slide us old people in horizontally, we might find it more relaxing anyway. :D

Your new car would be perfect for us. I like 4 doors the best also. Where I live there is such a problem with fog part of the year that orange or bright yellow is a great color to have. When I was young my all time fav color on a car was orange. Now my son has an orange Mustang, but he won't give it to me! I bet your car gets great mileage. What a plus in this day and age. :)

Steve, you remember that I bought a 2012 Honda Accord last summer? She supposedly gets 35 MPG on the open highway. Most of my driving is done within a 30 mile distance of my house so I hadn't really been able to judge the MPG. Last week I drove her on a 150 mile trip on the interstate. When I got home, the needle had barely moved. I'm loving that. Your car should do way better even than that. You might have to change the gas like you change the oil. :D
