My New Date

After a dinner date with a new lady the other night that will not be going any further I will be meeting another lady for breakfast tomorrow morning. She claims to be 5'9"athletic, a retired Real Estate Broker, golfer, swimmer and within 5 years of my own age. This should be interesting. The dating saga continues.

Sure hope it turns out better than the last one. The one thing I really liked, when I met my wife, was that she is ONLY a year and a half older than me. Before her, I dated younger and older, but not that close in age to me. I loved it when I found out her age!

Good luck Lon..I hope you find what you are looking for..:)

One of mine was when the guy sat there picking his nose in front of me..and then popped whatever it was into his mouth!!

I said..''Would you like some mustard with that?''

Yuk...

Gag! :playful:

Don't worry Ameriscot..he didn't last 5 minutes..If I remember correctly..I went to the ''Ladies''..squirmed through the window and walked home..leaving him sitting there in a restaurant..to enjoy the rest of his ''meal''...:(

Good for you Lon, line'em'up! LOL:) I've tried over the 18 years I've been divorced, but never met anyone. Then, I was on my own so long, I think I became more comfy on my own. The thought of living with a feller, uh, :dunno:

Yeah, one of the great things about a forum like this is that you have someone (or many some-ones) to tell your news to. Some of us here don't have others to tell in person about stuff. So, good luck to Lon!

One thing to remember is that we are all older now, and hey Lon, try to have realistic expectations....people are nervous on dates no matter what their age, and oftentimes we really overdo "putting best foot forward" when we're just humans.....

You're joking?? OMG!! That has to go on the "record" for worst dates:miserable: PS that smiley says "miserable" on it, but I am renaming it "gagging" LOL!!

Oh but Denise you don't have to live with them anymore, you can just enjoy them and stick 'em back in the box when you've had enough for a while..:coolthumb:
