My PC Crashed & Died. RIP

Fortunately, my iPad satisfies all of my needs. My desktop sits gathering dust in a corner...
Same here Ralphy , I bought my IPad Air about 18 months ago they are great, unless you want to print something!!
My laptop is sitting on the desk in top room gathering dust :)

Thank you Happyflowerlady, that is a lot of information and a lot to think about.

Can't print from an Ipad? I like to find and print knitting patterns, craft patterns etc. Can't do that?

My printer isn't working now anyway.

YES, you CAN print from an iPad ! !

My printer wirelessly connects. It is a monster "does-everything" one that my daughter gave me when she upgraded, and it "hides" in the back computer room. I can sit out here on the couch with my iPad, and when I want to print out something, I just tell it to print. It connects with the printer and prints it out.
I no longer bother to print out knitting and crochet patterns though , because I just save the pattern page in a folder on the iPad that I named "crafts", and then I access the pattern from the iPad. Nothing to get lost, or have to be stored anywhere; but I could print it out if I wanted to do so.
They make the wireless printers in all sizes; so you should be able to find one with the right size and capabilities to do what you need a printer to do.

I've had desk tops, laptops and tablets, I have found what works best for me is a 15" laptop and a 9" tablet, they are both the right size to take on trips, I use my laptop the most, sitting in my recliner, the tablet is used for reading, mostly in bed.

What brand is the "all in one"?

My tablet crashed, I may look into one..

I will always keep a desk top..

Ken, I also have the Dell all-in-one, probably similar to what Falcon has. Mine is an XPS-18. It has the 18" screen, sits on a pedestal like a desktop does. However, you can also pick it up and then use it just like you would use a laptop, or without the keyboard and mouse, and like a large tablet.
They run about $1000 new; but if you get the older model (which is what mine is) Amazon has them for around $500.
