I don't drive my old Dodge Dakota all that much these days. I recently let it sit for three weeks. When I finally needed to drive it, I found that neither of my key fobs would unlock the truck nor would they activate the lights. I knew the fob batteries were good because I checked them with a multi meter.
Several days later, I again drove my truck and both fobs were fully functional. On that day, however, the passenger side window wouldn't respond to the button on either arm rest.
Today I again took the truck out on an errand and to my surprise the windows fuctioned flawlessly from either button as did the power locks. I'm not complaining mind but I thought elves only worked repairing shoes at night.
Actually, I suspect the March Monsoons my truck sat out in caused these electrical gremlins.
