My Single Burner Propane BBQ

I've had a similar model for about 10 years. I hooked mine up to a 20lb tank, although the 1lb canisters are ideal for infrequent users (About 1 hours and 48 minutes on high). The price may seem high, but it is very energy efficient. I have saved far more than I originally gave for mine. The energy efficiency comes from the design, which requires the lid be closed after being lit. Which can be a hassle on very windy days. Opening the lid on very windy days might cause the burner to extinguish. So memorize how to reset the regulator.

The side trays tend to droop over the years and anything of much weight could slide off. As it only takes one screw to pullout the burner, I use steel wool to clean the burner and a small gauge wire to clean the orifices, about every 10 uses.

If it starts burning or flickering yellow at start up, then not enough air/oxygen, so...

That might all sound like a bit much, but I fully expect it to outlast me.

I've had one for many years (Without the :wings".) and use it often. I normally use the big jugs of propane.

I always keep the cover on in case it rains. I bought the special cart for it, also.

I removed the wings from mine, because I use it on my outdoor shooting bench which has plenty of room.

The 1-pound canister of Propane will probably last me for the rest of the BBQ season. Next time I use it will be on a Ribeye next month.

I think it cost me about $120, not expensive at all!
