My son was away on a job for a few weeks. On his way home he brought me a big basket of peaches from Georgia.
They started to ripen all at once so I made some peach cinnamon ginger muffins and then prepared some slices for the freezer. I peeled, sliced them and dipped them in lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Put them on cookie sheets to freeze quickly.
When they are frozen I'll put them in freezer bags.
I haven't done this in awhile. Seems a bit more tiring then when I was 30. lol
They will be much appreciated during the winter months
