Sorry; . I apologize as this was recorded on my cellphone because I don't have professional equipment.could follow the words the guitar was too loud - really!
Thanks! You are a classy person! How nice of you to write a song to honor Ed and Bobby, may they R.I.P. And apologizing for gracing us with your recording is unnecessary IMO! Considering you recorded that using your phone, it came out well. I'm a recording artist BTW and very picky when it comes to music.

Sorry; done on cellphone. I apologize. If you go on the site RWM Music Woburn and put in "Two Long Gone" you can retrieve all the words right on You Tube. Again, sorry for the poor quality. Maybe I'll try to do it over some time.like the words buddy but as a musician myself also disappointed if I can't make em out - thanks

Sixstringman: Thanks for sharing your song, it is a lovely tribute to two lost souls.Sorry; . I apologize as this was recorded on my cellphone because I don't have professional equipment.
I've attached the words below.
“ Two Long Gone”
Little fish in a great big pond
Searching for a friendly face
Feeling like a guest who didn’t belong
A stranger in a different space
First I met Ed then I met Bobby
Two guys people seemed to like
They both had very easy smiles
My eyes enjoyed that sight
Ed sat right in front of me
And Bobby never sat down at all
Full of fun not to be outdone
Got us thrown out of the Study Hall
Two long gone the only two I knew
Out of 50 thousand or so
Singing this song about 2 of them
I had the pleasure to know
Brought up to love both God and Country
They decided to enlist with the rest
Put their collective dreams on hold
Became part of the best of the best
I’m not saying that the war was wrong
I’m not saying it was right
I’m just saying that’s how they went
Into Shakespeare’s dateless night
Both of those heroes are in my thoughts
They show up from time to time
I like it this way Ed and Bobby can stay
Living forever in the back of my mind.
Two long gone the only two I knew
Out of 50 thousand or so
Singing this song about 2 of them
I had the pleasure to know
