My worst month, in years

I worked in manufacturing and learned how important doing preventative maintenance on equipment can be. That way you have less down time, never have to pay a premium on parts or weight for them. Etc. etc. You might want to consider setting up a PM program on all you equipment that can benefit from that effort.

Oooph!!!!! You've had a rough month,to many tricks and not enough treats...thank goodness you're able to repair stuff,my hubby was good at that also.
Deep breath!!!!!🙏👍

Life can be overbearing at times, take comfort in knowing that you are still able to fix some of the problems yourself.

Supposedly, retirement is some golden age, where you rest and enjoy life. Well, it's not. Retirement is the time when you replace everything you own. So far 2021-2 has been car, air conditioner, furnace, washer, leaking water pipes, and even my dentures. The last couple of year was roof window and outer doors. So, Don M, I know how you feel. But Don, tomorrow is another day, which means a hell of a lot more stuff that will break down.

I only work on my car because of the rules of our HOA. Each time I work on my car I keep thinking I will get a letter from them, but so far no one has turned me in. When I replaced that motor mount, people would walk by and ask what was I doing. I would tell them I was just checking the plugs. We have a rule in our development that you can’t work on any cars.

Wow Don...that is tough! Hopefully the last of your issues that gets resolved will be the last of problems and money you have to shell out for a good long time.
