Really. This is no joke, although my friend who posted it on FB was hoping it was. :D Included in this article is a video featuring the man who was tasked with building it in just 30 days ahead of the asteroid that was to pass Earth today, just in case it hit us instead. Apparently the idea came from an Oreo-holic customer who couldn't stand the thought of all those cookies being lost to a catastrophic event. I'm thinking maybe Nabisco could have used that money to give their employees bonuses or something.

Speaking of Oreos I used to scarf down lemon Oreos while watching TV with my very first granddaughter Angelica a/k/a "Stinky" whom I loved more then life itself. I sure passed the test one day when I popped one in my mouth and it was soggy. After two or three more I spit one out and discovered that the lemon center goop was missing. My head was about to explode until I saw her grab one, open it up, lick the cream out then stick it back in the pack. You gotta love the wee ones.

Makes one wonder if other top brands and makers of consumer goods and products have gone to the same such lengths.

i.e. Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble, Kleenex, Heinz, and the list goes on...
Coca Cola does have a huge safe that contains its secret formula. I forgot offhand just where it is.
