Name 5 things you would like to accomplish

Mr. Ed

Be what you is not what you what you ain’t
Location
Central NY
1. Open Water Scuba Certification
2. Retire from work in 5 years
3. Scuba dive off Corel Reef and Caribbean
4. Spend time with family members
5, Travel

Retire.
Read the bible more. And understand it better.
Spend a few days at the beach.
Pray more often.
Worry less.

I retired (from paid work) 14 years ago so I can't have that again....

1. Visit Austria (esp. Vienna & Salzburg) again.
2. Visit Slovakia (esp Bratislava)
3. Visit N.Finland and up to the Arctic circle again.
4. Visit the Florida Keys.
5. Have a flight in a vintage Bi-plane.

Pecos - thoroughly recommend Portugal - but not the Algarve! Go to Lisbon and surround towns Belham and Cascais for the museums and architecture. You could also think about Porto (where port comes from), a trip on the Duoro river and a visit to
Coimbra - the former capital of Portugal. It's a really great city with good food and wine.

  1. Expand my social network
  2. Improve my exercise regimen to improve my overall physical condition and get down to my target weight
  3. Find a consistent, reliable local group to climb with in the gym once the climbing gyms open again
  4. Take up Tai Chi or Yoga
  5. Be a better husband, be more of an asset for my wife, reduce the number of annoyances I create for her and help her have a more relaxed life

On reflection, I'm not sure what I want.
Travel etc.. that's fine, but I'm not the sort who does a lot of planning. I go on holidays with with only the minimum of preparations and make up the rest as go along. Life is much the same. I've known people who planned their lives and ticked off the boxes as they went. I've largely waited to see what opportunities presented themselves. On the whole, things have worked out pretty well.

There's no way I could have predicted the way thing have gone. I wonder what the next adventure will be?

We kind of do a combination of the two. We plan to go someplace to do something specific and then leave time before and/or after our main goal to do things that appeal to us while we're there. It's worked very well for us and we've experienced some amazing things.

Thanks for the insight. We are also looking at one of their Viking river cruises. Do you have any opinion on them?

learn as much as I can about quantum physics, the multiverse
buy an old classic Chevy V8 pick-up truck
read every book on philosophy that I can get my hands on
find a greeting card company to market my angel illustrations
The last one cannot be revealed to the public. (teehee)

1) travel again (Montreal, Victoria BC, UK, France, etc etc etc)
2) be more out-going and more comfortable around people
3) Learn French (bummer: no use for it around here 🙄)
4) see Yosemite again
And... 5) pay off my house (I’m poking this one with a short stick—hooray! 😄)
