I was a big time V8 drinker until I read the manufacturer would not reveal what percent of the eight veggies were in the mixture. The article said or hinted it was mostly tomato juice. Then I learned the sodium content and stopped. this was about 40 years ago. I think Campbells makes it. I do miss because I love the flavor.

I could only taste tomato and celery in V8. They do have a low-sodium version.

In my teens & 20's, I ate a lot of doughnuts, Doritos & drank a lot of Pepsi - and ate many Rolaids per day. I didn't connect the constant heartburn to what I was eating, until a friend worked at a doughnut shop & I watched him make doughnuts. That huge barrel of grease was a hint.....

Some ice creams and pastries that contain propylene glycol (an ingredient in anti-freeze and hair products). Also sugar free ice creams that were sweetened with aspartame.

microwave popcorn - until I found out it could be carcinogenic to pop it that way. I miss hot popcorn.
I don't own a microwave oven. I've never cared for the way food tastes or its consistency when it comes out of one. I don't know if it makes foods carcinogenic or not, but a couple of professionals in the field have said "Microwave energy changes the cellular composition of the food & it's not a good idea to eat food that has had the cellular structure altered."

Some Google results say propylene glycol is also in some flavored waters.. would you or anyone else here know if that's accurate?
I just purchased a pack of water, and it claims there's nothing in it but "purified water and natural flavors."

They may be referring to liquid water enhancers such as Mio, which I won't buy because it contains propylene glycol. There are others as well; one must just read the labels. Some flavored seltzers contain Aspartame so I don't buy those either

Anything that's got tons of sugar, sodium or saturated fats. So some examples by name:
Sugar: Soft drinks- regular Coke Pepsi etc = 37 grams of sugar
Sodium: Brats= 550~800+ mg of sodium
Saturated fats= Chorizo, plus other high fat cured meats.

They both are yummy....
Not any more. A bitter ingredient was added to Ethylene Glycol to cover up the sweet taste after several wives used it to get rid of their husbands.
"Honey, I made you some lime jello."
"Thanks, dear; it's delicious."

Hot Dogs/frankfurters, knew a co-worker who once worked for Oscar-Mayer. Probably to this day he won't allow his kids or grandkids one.
