For all -- maybe this has been addressed already -- but there is a Kansas City, Missouri as well. That city butts right up alongside Kansas City, Kansas.
I'm sure there's a story there about how two cities with the same name wound up next to each other in two different states.
Welcome, and congratulations for being a high school teacher long enough to retire. That is a great accomplishment to be proud of.
A few years ago I got an email from one of my high school teachers, she had just retired as well. She took the time to call a few people that she knew how to reach and see if they knew how to reach other people and put together a list of her favorite students. She wrote to me and asked me if I remembered playing guitar in her class a few times. She said she particularly liked the Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute. She had never heard anyone play that on guitar. I had not heard from her after high school, since 1972.
So welcome to the forum. Make yourself comfy, grab a cuppa Joe, and stay awhile...
