Naps

Did you ever just feel like sleeping all day or on and off all day? I'm feeling that way today so I may go lay down in awhile.

It's so gray outside today and drizzling rain, makes me want to snuggle up on the couch and nap.

Can't seem to get enough sleep some days. And then after eating something laying down to nap sounds good, too. I don't sleep real long when I nap, though.

So, who else likes naps?

No, I never nap, no matter how bad I get. Actually I hate going to bed at all, such a waste of time LOL. One day when I meet my maker I need to ask him why he invented sleeping!!!

I enjoyed a nap now and then before my Mom moved in after my Dad died. Not that she ever would have minded if I took a nap, but I felt funny letting her sit there while I napped. I'm sure she would have read or watched TV but I didn't do it. I think I got out of the habit. If I did fall asleep in the afternoon,I'm sure I would never sleep at night. Now I sometimes fall asleep in my recliner while watching TV in the evening another bad habit but I can't stay awake. The hubby says I actually snore in my chair.

I guess if you have a set sleep schedule naps could foul that up a bit. I nap and stay up late at times. Then sometimes I nap and sleep regular hours, too. :love_heart:

Love, love, love, love naps.

I fell in love with naps in college, when I could slip one in occasionally between classes. Then I worked for the rest of my life, where naps are frowned upon and for some reason, get you written up, with a short period of time when my naps and the rest of my time was controlled by a tiny tyrant, whose sole purpose in life was to make sure I never got any sleep.

Then I retired and I could NAP any time I wanted to AND I WANTED TO! I could nap in the morning, I could nap in the afternoon, I could even nap in the evening.

Thank you, Divine Being, for naps.

I never take a nap during the day. But since I have retired, I do sleep later in the mornings. Rather than getting up at 5:45, I will sleep until 8:00. I felt guilty at first (don't know why), maybe that will change.

I started napping in college, too! It's not easy to nap on the job but one job I had had a dark room with chaise like lounge chairs where you could go and nap for awhile. I felt sick one day and went in there and napped for a very short time. I loved that job but it was a temp. job. I just took a nap this evening and longer than I expected but that's okay...I have no one to answer to about it. Keep on nappin'. :)

Mine started in the Army when we had to hurry up and wait. Got to be an expert at it. The wife and I are apt to take short naps in the afternoon.
There are times when dozing off seems like the best thing to do...gotta love those afternoon naps! :)

I used to have some of those guilt feelings too and they went away.

I don't Nap... but I Oh so want to just lay in the bed some days. I've never done it but heard that some do..would like to give it a try. I'm not sure I could but would love to try.:redface-new:

Yes, this is napping weather alright. :D

Not all the time but sometimes I'll take a 45 to 60 minute nap around 1:00 p.m.
Sounds good to me.:playful:
