Jimmie Johnson was tested for cv19 last week, tested positive and not permitted to drive.

Then this week, he tested negative twice, and was cleared to drive.

Kinda makes ya wonder just how accurate these test are ?

BTW, my neighbor is tested 2-3 times p/week for her work. She says the test is no picnic ........ that 'pipe-cleaner' up the nose is no fun. Makes me wonder why people are lining up for [sometimes] hours to get tested ? Particularly if they have no symptoms , as many of them on the news say is the case ?

And if ya test positive ? Now what ? .......... there's no cure/vaccination . I suppose it's to hedge their bet, and perhaps protect their families ?

Or they're all just hypochondriacs ?

Fear sells tests - regardless of how unreliable they are.
That actor who died recently - Nick Cordero tested negative twice while in the hospital for Covid-19. He tested positive on the third test.

There are no cures or vaccinations but some treatments have proven to be quite successful. And as you suggested, people who test positive need to protect others from being infected. That may mean living alone for a while, isolating in a separate part of the living quarters, wearing a mask 24/7, or other steps.

I don't recall where I read it but, they said the accuracy of the tests supposedly depended on how long you'd had the virus in your system. *Waits to be verbally pelted*

Makes sense. The more virus present, the likelier a test will find it.
They were saying some of these people were testing negative even though they had it & they were being sent back to work & spreading it. They stated it was because it's harder to find it if it's been in your system say for 10 days already.

How odd. Where or when did you hear/read this?

Therefore it makes me wonder how long this can sit in some peoples systems undetected before they get tested which would result in even more infections?
