I live in Southern California, in the High Desert. Hot today- not a problem....muggy today- big problem!

We tend to have humid summers, but so far, it hasn't been too bad considering it's August.
Humidity where you are, is unusual, I take it?

I grew up in Anaheim, lived there before Disneyland which used to be orange groves. WOW, I am old,

Yes, the humidity is normally in the 'teens, there are thunderheads all around, with some downpours here and there. The "upside" is that the elevated humidity helps damper the raging brush-fires here a bit.

I miss having orange groves everywhere, there are some still operating in/around the Redlands area.
