I just made the recipe for Swedish Gingerbread from the back of "An Elderly Lady Must Not Be Crossed" by Helene Tursten (Book two of her Maud series - they are small but clever and fun) It was an unusual procedure but the cookies are SOOOOO Good! I put them in a tin and we ended up having one every time we go past it. I must make some more!! Today is a good excuse to have a couple (alright 4) with tea!

I like German gingerbread hearts...soft jelly-filled gingerbread coated with dark chocolate. Lebuchenherzen. Bought some at Aldi last week and have eaten all but four of them. Yum!
