Just one thing wrong with this...it's not peach season! I love peach cobbler and make it often in the summertime. Warm. With a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream

Well now, you’re talking up my alley. I remember when I was stationed on the Carrier, the Teddy Roosevelt, the chef on that ship (boat) made the very best peach cobbler I ever ate to to this day. He never spared the amount of peaches and one day for dinner, he added vanilla ice cream.

@Been There You only say that because you haven't tried my peach cobbler. Maybe the cook on your ship used the same recipe that I do...it came from a Better Homes & Gardens cookbook from back in the early 60s.
