Grandma used to make those, but we called ours cabbage rolls. We still make them, but bake ours are put in a tomato sauce/kraut mix. You've made me hungry for those now. I love cabbage no matter how it's cooked!Those might be the modern-day version, but my mothers were ground beef mixed with rice and seasonings made like a meatball, wrapped in cabbage leaves and baked in a tomato-y sauce in the oven!
However...I'll go for today's version, since it's their national day.
