My grandmother always had a jigsaw puzzle on a card table in her living room during the winter.
We would stop when we walked by it to fit a piece or two into place.

My DH and daugher( when she was young) would do puzzles together.
He an engineer..I think it'a logistic "thing"..they could just look at a piece and know where it fit in.
And complete them..."in no-time"!
It always frustrated me..no patience...not enjoyable.
She was also good at finding 4-leaf clovers..look down at the grass and "there one was"...

I loved doing puzzles! I even glued them to a board and hung them on the wall in the basement. Nice pastime.
