As a child I loved rice pudding.. actually to this day I like it but I rarely have it. My mother rarely cooked anything that didn't come out of a tin.. but occasionally she baked a rice pudding.. I loved that. With all the buttery skin on top.
I used to make it when my child was little.. but I rarely have it now... . I do keep the odd can of Ambrosia Rice in the cupboard, and it satisfies a craving when it arises.. but it's nothing like the real thing..
