Ah the he-ran-into-my-fist defense.
I haven't forgotten the hilarious line from a movie - "Collateral."
Tom Cruise played a hit man. Jamie Foxx was a cab driver who picked him up. When he drove him to an apartment, Cruise told him to wait for him. While Foxx is sitting in his cab waiting, Cruise shoots a guy & his body falls onto the roof of his cab from several floors up. Then Cruise asks Foxx to help him get the body off the cab and help clean up the blood.
Foxx says, "You killed him!"
Cruise says, "No, I didn't. The bullets & the fall killed him."
