Need advice how to clean

Over size drape.
Was washing the sliding glass doors,,decided to take the big drape down that we use on them.

Cleaning instructions recommend washing in cool water, gentle cycle.

The washer has an agitator , I don't think that large drape will fit or wash well in it.
The drape has a vinyl backing.

Today is windy & I got the drape hung on the clothes line.

Only thing I can think of is to sponge clean it.

I wash my shower curtains with vinyl backing in our washing machine but dining room curtains might be too big.

I’d probably spray wash it and use a sponge or brush depending on fabric. Hang to dry.

Maybe you could work it in the bathtub, then take it out to the clothes line
But wouldn't that make it too heavy and cumbersome to handle? It's oversized to begin with and no doubt heavy when dry, so I know it's heavier when wet. I'm so glad I got rid of my heavy drapery decades ago.

The sliding glass door faces East gets the morning sun.
In the winter its nice to have the sun warming that area.
In summer, too darn hot to have the drapes open very much.

Hence the heavy drape is nice.

This morning there is a bit of dew on the drape,,left it over night on the porch clothes line.
Can see the area I tried to clean yesterday doesn't look cleaned.

Back to the drawing board.
