Need advice on how to begin new life

Privately-owned and managed senior affordable housing (SAH) is better than local housing authority owned. The housing authority complexes are usually the ones that have waiting lists years long because seniors don't know anywhere else to seek affordable apartments. Also, housing authority communities traditionally have not been as well cared for as private properties.

Many, many companies and private individuals now offer SAH across the country. They have been building new housing and renovating old. They look like regular apartments, especially the new ones, so you can't tell when driving by that they are SAH. Many seniors don't realize that there are good, low-income apartments in their town and even around the corner that they can apply for and not have to wait years to get in.

I am sharing 3 management companies below to add to what I shared about Mansermar. If you don't want to live around families and children, look for the ones designated for 62+, seniors or 202 supportive housing for the elderly. If they are not indicated as such, look for 1-bedroom properties, which sometimes also have a few 2-bedrooms for seniors who need live-in assistance. Good luck to you! 💐🙏🏾
