Need deferred retirement plan

I have not set aside any retirement money. I am selling my business and will be getting a large initial sum and then smaller monthly payments for 24 months. I would like to shelter the money so I will only be taxed on withdrawals from the fund.

Welcome @BrianRamsey this sounds like something to go over with a professional advisor, at least once. Even my local banking advisor does this sort of thing though she does try to push their investment instruments.
