Neighbor's kicked me off their property because of a fall.

I think the people rushing by need a war to smarten themselves up. They are self-centered, materialistic and perhaps mean spirited. A war where some of their family members would perish would definitely teach them something about the value of life.
Just a wee bit too harsh for my taste, PJ.

I'm the Glady's Kravitz of my neighborhood, sitting at my computer in the front window keeping tabs on my neighbors who are even older than I am. I've called 911 for them a few times and the EMS drivers know me and wave.

I would like to have my own epi pen to carry because we have a lot of prescription drug addicts in this area and someone passing out in the Family Dollar is an everyday thing.

Why someone would refuse to help anyone, much less an older man in their own front yard, is hard for me to understand.

In the past they call me an old man at 61. I was going to put up a real nice plastic fence between me and them and pay for it but not now. I thinking about selling out and moving to retirement resort for old people.
Do NOT go down that road. I'm 87 and still live in my own home with my wife. There are too many physical abuses in retirement homes, nursing homes and hospitals. HOME is always best.

Even when I was in HOSPICE, I had them come to my home. I did not go to a hospice facility.

The neighbor's is two boys one is 42 and other is 30. My blood sugar went down to low and my legs got weak. I just set down on the grass in front of their house for 15 minutes and I got something to eat and was back to normal. They freaked out. I carry sugar pills with me at all times. They said they couldn't help me get up so I had get myself up.
Maybe they thought you might sue them?

and not only physical abuse, but the disgusting trend of giving elderly folks psych drugs so they're easier to manage...

Oh, so others are noticing too. Sad.

When my mother passed away, my dad was sad, so I called other family members asking them to call him or visit every so often. A quick phone call to ask about the day of an elderly person can mean a lot. Most never called, and I was surprised how many suggested getting him a pill. I guess a psych drug is thought to replace emotional support these days.

yes, and it totally sucks.

Our son is on disability, he is also very allergic to bee stings. His doctor wants him to carry 2 epipens at all times. His epipens cost him nothing.
