Hello! Just retired 9 weeks ago - what a relief! Looking forward to getting to know the forum (my first) and members.
I live in the Chicago area. Proud mom of 2 married daughters, Chauncey (the cat), and Finn (the dog). Interests are family,
reading, and frugal travel. Expecting to learn about more interests on this forum though!

We have several Chicagoans here, me kinda included, but I was born in Berwyn and lived the first 30 years of my fortunate life there. Are you in Chicago proper, or a suburb?
