New eyeglasses

Last month, I had my thorough annual eye exam, and ordered new glasses. I normally get the thin polycarbonate no line bifocal lenses...but this time, I chose to try the Crizal lenses. They are also thin poly no lines, but with full UV protection and anti-reflective properties. Last night, we were at the casino, and driving back after dark, in a light rain, I was impressed with how well they reduced the glare from oncoming traffic headlights. If anyone is bothered by the glare of bright lights at night, I would recommend trying Crizal. They were only about $10 more than the lens combinations I have used over the past few years....and seem well worth it.

That's the reason I have given up driving at night. I don't like being out at night unless someone else is driving. Just got new glasses myself and theres not much of a change but I got them anyway.

Just got my new glasses last week - progressive lens(no lines), anti reflective, anti glare.
First new pair in 6 years and what a difference! My driver's licence states no night driving,
so maybe the anti glare wasn't necessary, but it was included in the price. I am very happy
with them.

No night driving? That's the first I have heard of a licence with that restriction.

Previously mine was with prescription glasses only for distance.
