New fish oil

On the news last night they touted a new fish oil , said to be great for heart health, etc, & so-on.
It is called Vascepa, it is on average $278.00 p/month, and is only available by prescription....

The reporter asked the doc , isn't this the same as the fish oil we have had on shelves & taken for years? Of course the doc said, oh-no, this is an entirely new formula & is fused with an entirely different sort of omega-3 .............yeah OK.

Anything to get in our pockets.

One of their spokespeople is that guy from Gold & Pawnshop in Nevada ......that right there tells me to be very wary.

Of course, I would not touch it and don't touch many pharma drugs anyway. Pharma has so much gull and to change a tad of this or that so they can patent it and sell it as a script for big $$$$.

I've started with Krill oil recently and it's found in the Move Free Ultra Mega and I bought a separate bottle of Krill oil softgels too.

We have no idea how much it costs pharma to run these tv ads so they can push their pricey drugs. Millions...
 

I saw that on TV yesterday evening also, I was taking a prescription Omega 3 called Animi 3 that was costing me out of pocket $350.00 for a six month supply because my 'D' supplement didn't cover it.....I now take this and it costs me $40.00 for a six month supply.

You have seen the Chicken-Fil-A commercial where the cows say, "Eat More Chicken?" Here's my answer to the wonder pill mentioned here, "Eat A Fish."
