Hi all - I'm a long retired small business owner, happily married to a very sweet lady and living in the Central Valley of Kalifornistan.

In searching for a senior forum, I found several had gone off line, and this one seems the most lively with lots of activity.

I hope to take part and make new, online friends.

- Dale near Stockton, CA

P.S. "Barnsour" is the term used for old horses that don't like to leave the barn. It fits me pretty well except that I like to hit the road aboard our motorhome.

:welcome: BarnSour. from the west end of Tennesseetan. :D Love your sense of humor and your outlook on life, your choice of finding an active and great Senior Forum is spot on ! I believe you will like it here, mosey about and look around,, im I'm sure you will find something that will peak your interests.. Continue to enjoy your day..

Greetings, BarnSour! We are much closer to the coast than AzJim, can almost see it from here! When that big piece falls off, we hope to make a killing on shore property value! Ha!

Newbie here, but can tell you there are some really nice folks here. And, some like me........ imp

WELCOME!

:welcome: Dale Glad to have you here

I read Pickles 7 times/week. And on Sunday, its even in color. He can be such a grouch @ times.

Love the little grand son.

Welcome Barnsour, from the central California smokey mountains. Our wildfire (which was within 10 miles from my grandson's mom's house) has now burnt up 89,000 acres. I bet you are smelling the smoke as well as I am. Have you lived in Stockton your whole life? We've stopped there for gas or to eat from time to time.

Thanks all, for your very warm welcome. How nice!

No, Linda, I live near Stockton, never in Stockton. I've lived here waaaay too long having moved here 40 years ago and have been in NorCal all my life. I have wanted to move out of Kalifornistan for years but Wifey won't budge.
