New from northern MN

Hi guys, I have some forum experience, so shouldn't sound too confused. I can see Canada as I type and would really love to get out of International Falls winters. 4 feet of snow and has warmed up at night to a balmy 20 below. First question: Is there a dedicated section for choosing towns? I may have missed it.

Thanks K&T. Texas coast (not the Rio Grande) is one of the areas I'm researching. Other forums have been adamant about posting in the proper places. I've looked for a 'Where to plant' section without success.

It's unseasonably warm here in London England... we've had a gorgeous February, no snow.. and temps at up to 70 deg F

First, WELCOME!
Second, and you're not going to believe this, but wife and I (71 and 70) are making plans on moving out of northeastern Florida and going back to Colorado. Colorado winters aren't as bad as MN ones, but there is still definitely a winter there.

I kinda fell in love with Corpus Christi when doing some roofing down there after a hurricane
Swore I’d settle there

You know
Nibblin' on sponge cake
Watchin' the sun bake
All of those tourists covered with oil
Strummin' my six string on my front porch swing
Smell those shrimp
They're beginnin' to boil

But that was back in the ‘60s….

Anyway, welcome

It’s a fun, busy little forum
A great evening distraction
