I just joined this forum. My Name is Ron and I live in Boston and I just turned 73 April 1st. Tried to join another one but never received a confirmation e-mail so I said the hell with it. Please let me know what your views are about this forum.
It looks pretty good so far.

Hi Ron from Boston. In my humble opinion, this forum is interesting and varied in subjects and what I like most is the international population. I find the people very friendly and welcoming. I belong to a few other forums, and find some to be a bit cliquish, but haven't found that here. Stick around and join in the topics.

Hi Ron,
This is the best senior forum I have been on. It has a large variety of members from everywhere in the world so answers to questions are quite diverse. The moderation isn’t hard handed and it’s a fun place.
Welcome to our group and have fun.

Hi Ron - -I'm about 50 miles south of you in New Bedford. I don't get up to Boston as often as I once did, but we do pass through on our way to Maine and back, a couple of times a year. As you can imagine, we use the Southeast Expressway and I can't comment on those exercises in traffic madness without being removed from the forum due to excess profanity. LOL

Are you downtown or on the outskirts/ There's another group member who is a bit north of the City but overall, New Englanders seem to be a scarce commodity on most of these forums? Hope you enjoy it here and I'll try and avoid any Southeast Expressway discussions. :D

Hi Ron! Its good your here and welcome. I myself am fairly new but here long enough to know that there is much kindness and understanding not to mention that there is also much respect to be found here along with knowledge of many things and wisdom. I believe you will much enjoy your stay here.
Talk to you later Ron. :)

Hi, Ron! This forum is a very good one. There are lots of topics to input on, and most of the folks, here, are on the friendly side. Look around at all of our forum topics, settle on in, and we look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi Ron, I enjoy this forum and you probably will too. There is always a variety of subjects to chat with people about. I see you used to live in Hollywood FL. Several years ago we spent 5 months a block off the ocean there. We loved it. We stayed there while my husband and son were working in Coral Gables.

I've never been to your area. I guess NYC is about as close as I've been.

I don't live in MA but my family does around the Boston area so I know the area well.

Quite a place. Plenty of history of course.

Tonight in NFL hockey Toronto is playing at Boston. This will be the final game in this series as the winner will advance.

I'm looking forward to it tonight at 7.00 p.m.

Best Senior Forum in the world. Welcome!

Actually I live in Chelsea and only 10 minutes away from Boston. :eek:nthego:

When I was a teenager and first arrived in this country, I lived for a short time in Dorchester, went to school near the Boston harbor, and most of my relatives were/are living in Quincy.
