OK, so I saw the end of it, finally. (It was a relief!) I agree with fmdog, the ending was disappointing. But I thought the whole series was phony, ridiculously unbelievable, and poorly acted and directed. How many times do we have to watch an expressionless Nicole Kidman walking down the street?
Spoiler alert: I expected a totally different ending, not something as pedestrian and obvious as the one they had. I thought Nicole had done it out of rage, and when her husband was accused, she offered to testify as a character witness for him, deliberately planting doubt as to his innocence. She was supposed to be an expert psychologist, so she would have been skillful at manipulating the jury. He would have been found guilty and given a life sentence, and she would have gotten away with the murder.
