New iPhone updates changing settings.

I used an iPhone for years, I guess since they were first introduced. In recent times I have felt that it is wise to update my phone because of the security updates included. It really bugs me when those updates include changes in apps that I don't like without a way to undo the change.

As an example I have carefully managed photos on my phone into albums that allow me to readily find one easily. This revision was part of an IOS update a while back. It seems that the changes were viewed by Apple as an improvement. I definitely disagree. I also find that the app that manages my hearing aids having been adjusted to my liking all of a sudden returned to default settings that had to be tediously revised.

Same thing on my Android. I used to spend a lot of time trying to get it back like it was. Now I just use it as it is which is aggravating but in the long run takes me less time.

I have always felt that programmers tend to develop code from a perspective of what THEY think we should have as opposed to researching what the user requests. It is an integral part of system analysis.
