Hello,
I am new here and my user name is senior chef. I am in my 70's and I live alone. Nothing terribly exciting going on in my life at the moment. I used to travel widely but now my health no longer permits that. Most of my future posts will most likely be in the cooking forum

While I'm sure 'foodies' will enjoy picking your brain about your skills, do remember we are all more than just our occupations. If you took photos during your travels, there photography forums. And some might enjoy hearing stories of your travels. There is even a 'Diaries' forum where people can share most anything from their past or present and any plans/hopes for future.

And one can always post a question in General Discussions if you can't find a forum that seems like a good fit.
