I live in the high desert area of New Mexico. I love my state and enjoy living here. I enjoy gardening, reading, my two dogs. I walk for exercise, and also babysit for my 4 year old twin grandsons.

I would just like to gain some input from other seniors who are going through the same issues I have. I live alone, and don't work at this point, and have a few good and bad issues I'd like to discus..

Welcome from Houston! I have cousins that have lived in Hobbs New Mexico for years and loved it. What issues would you like to discuss? We talk about everything here!

Welcome! There are many interesting and helpful topics, people give varying views and ideas on.
Welcome to the group.

Welcome Dixon ..

Welcome from south central Florida. We discuss everything here except politics. Probably should stay away from religion .......... but don't.

I lived in Farmington early in the 60s, then in Las Cruces. I've lived lots of places in my long life, but there's a special place in my heart for New Mexico. Loved it there! There's a "feeling" in New Mexico that's just different (and more special) than anywhere else on earth. I'd go back in a heartbeat if only I could.

You can talk to us and ask us anything except for politics, not allowed here for sanity and civility's sake. Ask us your questions, and you can also do a search for your topic to see and read other threads on the subject (upper right corner of page). And welcome, I live right next door in Tucson.

Funny, I'd forgotten that "right next door" out there can be only a few blocks or a few hundred miles or so. From Cruces we'd zip over to Tucson on a Saturday morning to visit my aunt and uncle. Lunch, visit, home by suppertime. It was NBD, only about 275 miles (at a time when the speed limit was 85). My doctor was in Albuquerque, only about 185 miles from Farmington and a mere 220 from Cruces.
