New / Old Spinning Wheel

Just bought this 1850 ish wheel from a gal and will pick it up next week. Not useable but it has all it parts and will be restored. The distaff will be removed and discarded as it is not real...just a bush with branches. This one will be a challenage.

Anybody want to come and help???

One of our last neighbours from where we used to live, spun her own yarn from wool she’d sheer from her sheep. It was pretty cool. It’s too bad you couldn’t show pictures.

Misa bought a late 1800's spinning wheel. We bought a bunch of fresh cut 's wool. She was able to make several mittens.

Nope, she just looked everywhere. Gave them away.
