I am in Texas, Dallas Fort Worth Area.

Welcome! I live in a suburb of Dallas, near White Rock Lake. We've been meaning to get to the beautiful arboretum in Fort Worth but since TX went right from winter into summer it has been too hot!

I hope you find many friends in this forum, as I have. There are lots of good people here, and many interesting topics, so I hope it will help you feel less alone and more connected.

We sure do. That is Whitewater Falls on the border between SC and NC. Just considering only the county I live in there is around 150 waterfalls.

Hi, I have been just reading the board. This is all new to me. I am up in the Dallas area.

@grahamg You are way ahead of me, I don't have a smart phone. They are so smart that I do not want to even try to figure one out.

I'm not into cell phones. I have only my landline, and figure if anyone wants to talk to me they can call, if I am not home call me later or leave a message.
