I'm just here to compare notes with others who may have had some of the same experiences.

Very disappointed with recent experience with Reddit. More comfortable with a usenet-type unmoderated or lightly moderated forum.

Male, 75, live in the Pacific Northwest. Happily married, with one daughter.

It's from the picture on the conning tower of the u-boat in Das Boot.

The crew was in danger and misery for almost the whole film, and yet their emblem was a happy-go-lucky sawfish.

The irony was *great*!

Nah...they're *all* too young for any possibility of a connection of minds when discussing a topic. They are stuck where we all were about 50 years ago, thinking that what's happening around them, to them, is the first time it has ever happened in the history of the earth.
