New Year Television Programmes

OK, I know that there is an entertainment department here, but
I just wanted to put a link here to the BBC Alba TV Channel, that
is always good as we cross into another year and the link is for
that programme and won't be available till 23.30 hrs or 11.30PM
tomorrow 31sty December 2019.

You might not be able to open it of course as it is a UK thing and
they ask if you have a TV licence, to which the answer is yes.

If you have Opera you can of course change you IP address to a
UK one and you will get this, but remember the times are all our
times and you will need to adjust to get there on time.

The programme is likely to be in Gaelic, but there are subtitles
and the music is universal.

Just to add onto the topic of New Year's Day television programming, the Philadelphia Mummers Parade will be televised on I believe ABC in the morning. It's not often that you get to see men wearing brightly colored sequined and feathered outfits strutting down the street, some playing banjos. It's high strangeness... o_O

We watch and tape all the progs leading up to the 2020 like jules Holland as u get some old singers from the states appearing
or find a good thriller film to watch if still awake and not zonked out

I have Alba on the TV and BBC Scotland on the PC, both
are superior to the offereing taht we have here in England.

CNN tonight from 9-11pm is showing a documentary about singer Linda Ronstadt"The Sound of My Voice'.I hope to stay awake to see some of it
