New Years Eve Fireworks

Terrorism threat is on high but Sydneysiders are gathering around the Harbour to see the fireworks and enjoy the entertainment. There could be up to 1.6 million people joining in the celebrations with more at lesser events out in the suburbs. Some rain is possible but most people won't care.

There are three fireworks displays, 9pm (in 2 1/2 hours), 10.30pm and the main show at midnight.
Police will be out in force.

Never mind the terrorism threat. Tonight would be a great night to rob a bank.

accch it's the same here in London DW...millions of people watching the fireworks on the southbank, the millennium, and Tower bridge...I won't be there but it's always a spectacular sight to see every year!!

It is tickets only for the firework display in London tonight..................my daughter sent for two tickets and it was when she received them that she first learn't about all the restricions placed on them so her and husband have decided not to bother.
