Newbie waving to the group!

Empty nester living in a small Missouri town and tired of waiting on my kids to call me or come back into town. Most of my realitives are out of state as we all have migrated over the years. I have family in OR, CA, OK, TX, and FL. I am disabled now due to poor eyesight, living on a fixed income, and unable to drive, so getting out and meeting people is difficult. I am bored, lonely, and looking for friends to chat with or place an occassional phone call to. Would love to hear anothers voice every once in a while. Any takers ?
