Hi all, just found this forum and am happy to be among fellow Seniors! DH and I both have our share of white hair and wrinkles and are more than old enough to qualify for Medicare. DH has had a chronic health condition nearly all of his adult life and so we spend a great deal of time in doctors' offices and having labs...I am sure cruising the Carribean would be more fun, but "them are the cards we were delt"!
We have three grown daughters and 7 living grandchildren. Two of our grandchildren are adopted special needs kids. Grandchildren range in ages from 20 to 2, and we try to lend a hand with them whenever we can. I do paper crafting and digital scrapbooking as hobbies and DH watches the news and "piddles" around! Hope to share with all of you the delights of growing old, but have already discovered there "ain't no gold" in these years!
