The National Football League(NFL) "voluntarily" gave up it's tax exemption saying it didn't need the distraction.

When I heard this a week or two ago not only did I think was a hide the news in plain sight by announcing off season but I figured there was a "deal" or negative news about to come out even uglier than deflate gate-another 'distraction'.

Low and behold it turns out the NFL has been charging the US military millions of dollars for those salute the troops & military festivities and/or ceremonies.

Some say it should be free for the US military and a salute to the troops/military should come from altruism and not profit. But what bothers me the most is that these teams have a press release 'Salute to the troops on Sunday' and if one were to read or hear that the naive might think how nice, they're saluting the troops, "there such good guys"-pppffffffttttttt -It's for the NFL's benefit money and pr wise, it's not a salute to the troops in a sincere let's do something for them way. It's about profit.
