You're welcome, and yes to all. We had all his medical records when we adopted him. He was on medication for a respiratory infection but soon recovered. His foster drove over 40 miles to our house to drop him off to make sure he would have a good place to live and told us about some of his characteristics like snoring and opening cabinets and drawers. He hasn't disappointed!

Thanks for adopting Bugsy. Black cats are frequently the last to be adopted. We had a neighbor who moved and just abandoned her black cat. Found the poor thing living under our car. Opened our front door and left a bowl of food visible inside. Walked in and never left. She was great, lived with us for years, until she passed on. Our current cat is a female Tuxedo, another great one.

Petsmart, yes... I got to the point where I couldn't even go to that section of the store because they all looked so precious and I couldn't bring them all home. I actually
stood there with teary eyes more than once.My condolences for your loss, leave your heart wide open, the next furbaby will want to fill as much as possible.
Our black cat has white ends of his front and back paws, has white on his chest and on his belly. Adult cats are apparently hard to find. Our Bart is still a kitten, and we feel we did him a disservice since we are so old. However, our son will have and love him when we die.
Your cat sounds beautiful. I think the availability of adult cats must depend on where you live. We adopted Andy at 3 y/o and Bugsy at 6 y/o. Both had lived with older owners who had passed away, so we felt good giving them a home again.
Yes, we were told black cats are last to be adopted. We adopted our previous black cat, Toby, at 6 months old and he passed away from severe asthma at 6 y/o. He was the most beautiful and sweet cat and we were devastated. We weren't going to get another cat, but a few months later I found Bugsy online and the rest is history. If there are black cats available, we will absolutely adopt them.
Our Bart was 6 weeks old and the family really wanted rid of him. We would have preferred that he have a couple of more weeks but it was take him today or never. It dawns on me that maybe they were thinking he was spawn of the devil! He plays like a kitten but is also so sweet.
