Yessss, seems every time I do something nice and helpful it bites me in the butt. Sometimes within hours.

I just got took today.
My neighbor borrowed a $1.25. She's nice so I am thinking she must need it because she never borrows. A few minutes later I see her boyfriend heading to the bus top. She borrowed for him knowing I won't give him anything, he's always broke and never pays money back......
Grown man can't even keep $1 in his pockets.......
Well, that won't happen again. Both are cut off now

I'm like you...an elephant never forgets. Having said that, I won't let inconsiderate people get to me and make me cynical. I won't let their bad behavior change my way of interacting with other people with honest intentions.
